Please help us celebrate the Harrisburg Area Police Athletic League’s new home and Grand Opening. There will be baseball, food, and drinks. Our Youth Center will also be open for tours, and we will award the Angel Mercado-Ocasio scholarship to one of our PAL youth mentors. Angel Mercado-Ocasio was a 19-year-old who passed away after he was injured while a makeshift dugout he was helping to dismantle collapsed on him. He also played baseball at Central Penn College. Angel was also a PAL kid.
We look forward to bringing athletics to the community, as well as educational programming and other activities for our youth, who are 5 to 17 years of age.

Harrisburg Area Police Athletic League is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We serve the communities of Dauphin County. HAPAL provides youth initiatives and activities throughout the year. One of our primary goals is to build a bridge between our youth, families, communities, and all law enforcement agencies to reduce the increase in youth crimes and delinquency and to promote health and education.
Harrisburg Bureau of Police Services Division sponsors the scholarship with funds from last year’s National Night Out event.
