The Life Learners Initiative is at the core of all programs/activities offered by HAPAL, along with our goal of bridging the gaps between our mentees and law enforcement in hopes of reducing crime and recidivism in our communities.
Life Learners emphasizes the importance of continuous learning. Mentees are encouraged to be aware and knowledgeable and take advantage of every opportunity for personal growth. Learn through daily interactions with others and daily activities.
HAPAL provides a wide variety of programs/activities that initiate and nourish active learning. HAPAL instruction focuses on positive mentoring through modeling, education, character development, diversity, and responsible behavior.
HAPAL success is a reflection of the people involved. We are fortunate to have talented children and active, involved, and loyal, supportive parents and mentors. Having the right, mentors, and volunteers who adhere to the HPAL goals, vision, and philosophy is critical to reaching our organizational goals and vision.
